“This”

We (Jerry and RC) are two filmmakers with dramatically different styles who thought the juxtaposition of those styles might make for a fun screening. We were right and our showcase was a success, so we decided to try again, but add a few other filmmakers while keeping the spirit and format the same. Turned out we had a little film festival on our hands. After two years of nameless backyard screenings, we (Jerry and RC) have decided level up. We’re going to do multiple screening at multiple venues and we’re going to pair movies with beer, art and food. We’ve chosen the name North Park Film Festival because that’s the neighborhood in San Diego, CA we both live in. We’re taking submissions from wherever folks want to submit, but at our core, we’re still a backyard film festival. It’s just our backyard is getting a bit bigger.
